Federal Fund Freeze
In response to the Trump Administration’s order to freeze federal funds to programs administered by the states, the New Mexico Department of Justice (NMDOJ) has joined a coalition of 22 states challenging the order and has filed a temporary restraining order seeking to immediately restore funding for critical services.
While the coalition’s broader legal challenge proceeds, the NMDOJ is gathering information from programs affected by the funding freeze. If your program is unable to access funding or is facing other disruption due to the freeze, please complete the form below.
Additional resources and information related to the funding freeze will be posted on this page as it becomes available.
The NMDOJ is committed to pushing back against federal policies that disproportionately harm its citizens and to ensuring equitable access to critical funding.
