Albuquerque, NM – New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas released the following statement in response to the Affordable Care Act repeal proposal:
“Hundreds of thousands of New Mexicans have health coverage today thanks to the Affordable are Act, and this plan to repeal the Act’s essential features is reckless, irresponsible, and puts New Mexicans at an unacceptable health and safety risk,” said Attorney General Balderas. “This proposal would create a disastrous cost-shift that could bankrupt our already financially unstable state government.”
