Carlsbad, NM – Tonight, a Carlsbad jury found Curtis Jones has committed the delinquent act of first degree child abuse resulting in death for the 2004 murder of a 20 month-old baby girl. The Office of the Attorney General tried the decade-old case and Jones now faces a possible 18 years of incarceration subsequent to an amenability hearing because Jones was 17 years-old when he committed the offense.
