Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA)
As an employee of the New Mexico Department of Justice, you will automatically become a member of the New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). PERA offers a defined benefit plan that, upon your retirement, means you’ll receive a lifetime monthly benefit based on your years of dedicated service and earnings.
