Notice to New Mexico Tobacco Manufacturers, Distributors, and Retailors
Effective January 1, 2021 the Tobacco Products Act (NMSA Chapter 61, Article 37) requires that tobacco Manufacturers, Distributors, and Retailers located in New Mexico obtain a license issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department – Alcohol Beverage Control Division. Tobacco Manufacturers located in New Mexico Mexico that manufacture Cigarettes and Roll-Your-Own Tobacco seeking a Manufacturer License must provide their most recent State of New Mexico Tobacco Product Manufacturer Certification for Listing on New Mexico Tobacco Directory (Certificate of Compliance) with their Tobacco License Application to the NM-ABC. Tobacco Distributors and Retailers are not required to provide a Certificate of Compliance with their Tobacco License Application.
